Welcome to Light International School Mombasa.
As Principal, it is my great honour to lead a school community that is deeply committed to nurturing morally upright, socially responsible, and academically capable individuals. At LIS Mombasa, our mission extends beyond academic achievement – we aim to develop well-rounded global citizens who are prepared for lifelong success, higher education, and meaningful contributions to society.
Our academic programme is anchored in the Cambridge International Curriculum, offered from Early Years through to A Levels, and is enhanced by Pearson Edexcel pathways. This dual curriculum offering provides both academic rigour and flexibility, while ensuring international recognition and alignment with global best practices. We are proud to be accredited by two of the world’s most respected education bodies, the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Council of British International Schools (COBIS).
These accreditations affirm our dedication to high standards in teaching, learning, governance, and child safeguarding, and connect us to a global network of leading international schools.
