Learning Resources and Activities
We also have lots of learning resources and materials which help teach and add to the learning experience of the little children. In our kindergarten, we have low student-teacher ratio, ensuring that each child gets individual attention from our able and dedicated staff. The result is that each child’s individual needs are able to be met in an understanding and friendly environment.
Our teachers at the Kindergarten are Professionals and very enthusiastic about working with young children. We also have a fulltime nanny to aid the smooth running of the kindergarten.
At LIS, we see learning for young children as an exercise that needs to have lots fun, joy, exciting activities and a lot of patience. With our resources, we offer no less.
Multicultural Environment
The LIS Kindergarten believes in diversity and respect of all people from different cultures and religions around the world. Our learning environment comprises children from various nationalities and cultural backgrounds through which we offer diversity of exposure and nurture a good foundation for the young children so as to help them form healthy relations at a young age and to prepare them to be future globalized citizens in the world.
Students Council
We instill the concepts of democracy and collective responsibility in our students by letting them vote for their students’ leaders who are responsible for airing their voices to the school’s administration. The Students’ Council is made up of 11 student leaders who are committed and fueled by their passion for the school. Their major responsibility is to represent their fellow students’ interests to the school administration. By doing so, they get exposed to leadership early enough while their fellow students get to understand how democracy works.
