Light International School Shines at The African Debate Academy

Over the weekend of November 9th and 10th, our talented students from elementary, junior, and senior levels took part in an unforgettable experience at the African Debate Academy’s Mombasa Open Round! The event featured three exciting categories: public speaking, debate, and quizzes, providing a platform for participants to learn, grow, and showcase their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

From our youngest debaters, taking their first steps into the world of public speaking, to our seasoned seniors demonstrating poise and expertise, every participant made us proud. The event was not just about competing but also about fostering critical thinking, confidence, and collaboration. Students walked away with invaluable lessons, strengthened skills, and fond memories that will last a lifetime.

It was a weekend filled with enriching challenges, teamwork, and, of course, loads of fun! Moments like these highlight the incredible potential of our students and the importance of creating opportunities for them to thrive.
