Cultural Day at LIS Kindergarten: A Celebration of Identity and Belonging.

“Culture is not just what we inherit—it’s what we choose to celebrate together.”
This week at LIS Kindergarten, we held our much-anticipated Cultural Day—a joyful occasion that brought together our learners, parents, and staff in a vibrant celebration of diversity. The school was filled with excitement as children arrived dressed in traditional attire representing their cultural backgrounds. It was a beautiful moment to see our young learners proudly sharing who they are while embracing the traditions of others.
The day was filled with meaningful activities, from cultural songs and dances to storytelling sessions and food tastings. Each class presented something unique, creating an atmosphere of discovery and appreciation. With the help of our supportive parents, who contributed traditional dishes and cultural items, the children enjoyed a hands-on learning experience that went beyond the classroom.
Cultural Day reminded us of the importance of nurturing an inclusive environment where every child feels seen, valued, and connected. It was more than a celebration—it was a moment of learning, reflection, and unity. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making the day so special, and we look forward to building on this spirit of togetherness throughout the year.
