Standing Strong with our Community Funzi Island
At Light International School, Mombasa, we believe in sharing with our community.
Here, our A-Level students visited Funzi Island at the Coast of Kenya .The students shared moments, firming up bonds of friendship.
In supporting Funzi Primary, we donated microscopes, mathematical sets, and books. Members of the community were also invited and supported with Solar Lamps to brighten their nights.
We are Caring and Compassionate neighbours. We are LIS.
Makanzani Primary School in Kilifi
One of the hallmarks of Light International School, Mombasa, is Service Learning.
This concept entails students learning values by interacting with the local community, serving the members of the society.
In Makanzani Primary School in Kilifi, our students donated books and microscopes to enhance learning for our gracious hosts.
And we planted Fruit trees and watched the blessing of rain shower them in real time.
