Kindergarten at Light International School

Our Kindergarten section offers a lot to the little ones. At LIS, we use the British EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) programme, coupled with the Jolly Phonics reading program. Our model enables children to learn through lots of fun-based activities like stories, songs, drama, actions, movies and puppetry and prepares them adequately for a smooth transition into the year one class.

Why We Stand Out

Kindergarten years are the foundation of your child’s academic journey and future career. At Light International School, we take this foundation seriously. While working together with you, we do our best to ensure that it goes smoothly.

Learning Resources & Activities

We also have lots of learning resources and materials which help teach and add to the learning experience of the little children. In our kindergarten, we have low student-teacher ratio, ensuring that each child gets individual attention from our able and dedicated staff. The result is that each child’s individual needs are able to be met in an understanding and friendly environment.
Our teachers at the Kindergarten are Professionals and very enthusiastic about working with young children. We also have a fulltime nanny to aid the smooth running of the kindergarten.
At LIS, we see learning for young children as an exercise that needs to have lots fun, joy, exciting activities and a lot of patience. With our resources, we offer no less.

Multicultural Environment

The LIS Kindergarten believes in diversity and respect of all people from different cultures and religions around the world. Our learning environment comprises children from various nationalities and cultural backgrounds through which we offer diversity of exposure and nurture a good foundation for the young children so as to help them form healthy relations at a young age and to prepare them to be future globalized citizens in the world.
